Understanding the Treatment
Acne and residual marks are treated differently.
Acne is a condition in which sebum, clogged pores, and inflammation are involved together. Comedones that are plugged like tiny bumps and red, painful inflammation are not treated in the same way. Reducing newly forming lesions is one part of treatment to help prevent more scarring.
Extraction, injections, and device-based procedures each have their own role. Depending on the skin condition, topical or oral medication may also be considered together, and we do not explain that procedures alone can resolve every cause or that cure is achieved in a fixed number of sessions.

We check painful lesions, deep inflammation, and spreading patterns. Rather than quickly layering mark treatment, we first judge the basic treatment and soothing that are needed.
Explain the reason for each additional procedure
We distinguish whether a lesion should be extracted, whether local inflammation should be reduced, or whether a procedure targeting sebaceous glands and the like should be added. Receiving multiple devices at once is not the basic plan.
Also includes maintenance methods for everyday life.
We review cosmetics, cleansing, oral medications, menstrual cycles, and recurring locations together. Based on changes in new lesions and side effects, we adjust the next treatment.

Extraction · injection for inflammation
Extraction addresses suitable clogged lesions, and anti-inflammatory injections may be considered locally for some inflammatory lesions. This is not the same as squeezing it at home, and risks such as skin atrophy after injection are also explained.
Agnes
Using a fine needle and radiofrequency, the decision to apply it is made by considering the target lesion and sebaceous glands. It differs from care that does not puncture the skin, as well as recovery and precautions.
Gold PTT
This method induces a thermal response with a laser after applying a light-reactive substance. Based on its suitability for sebum and acne concerns, we explain the applied substance, laser, and preparation process separately.
PDT
This is photodynamic therapy, in which a photosensitizer is applied and light is then used. After applying the medication, a waiting period and post-procedure light exposure management are needed, so the visit schedule is also considered.
Clarity2 Acne
It is selected depending on whether the current concern is active acne or remaining marks. If extraction or medication treatment is combined, the order of steps is determined together.

What to Know Before and After Treatment
Please manage your skin like this after the procedure.
- Do not squeeze by hand
- Do not repeat extraction or scratch the treated area. The timing for reusing irritating cosmetics should also follow the instructions.
- If you had PDT
- Follow the light exposure restrictions appropriate to the medication used. Before scheduling as usual, confirm the specific period.
- Treatment response
- Please contact us if inflammation worsens or pain or warmth persists. Dryness and medication-related discomfort are also important information for adjusting the next treatment.

Questions to Ask Before Deciding.
Will extraction alone help?
It may help depending on the lesion, but it may be necessary to address the cause of new acne and the inflammation together.
Can I start with scar laser treatment?
If active inflammation remains, please discuss the treatment order first. New lesions can still appear during scar treatment.
Do I have to take medication?
It depends on the severity and your history. If you want to avoid medication or have had side effects before, sharing that can help review your options.
Do I need extraction every time?
Not every lesion is a candidate for extraction. Depending on deep inflammation and skin condition, other treatments may be needed first.
I am taking acne medication. Can I still have a procedure?
Please tell us the medication name, dosage, and duration. Do not stop it on your own; we will review the chosen procedure and your skin condition together.
Results and recovery vary by individual, and all procedures carry a risk of side effects.
