Care by Concern
Which skin concern would you like to address?
BY CONCERN
We don't recommend treatments you don't need.
Care that begins with your concern
You don't need to know the name of the treatment. Choose the concern you notice each time you look in the mirror. We diagnose the cause and walk you through the treatments suited to it, one step at a time.
When Laxity and Ageing Begin to Show
Sagging is not resolved by any single procedure. A natural recovery of facial lines is possible only when we accurately diagnose which layer (SMAS, dermis, or epidermis) has weakened and combine procedures of the appropriate energy and depth. At DA Clinic Myeongdong, we first diagnose the underlying layer of the sagging, then propose a suitable combination among different approaches such as ultrasound, radiofrequency, and thread fixation. Even at the same age, skin thickness and the pattern of sagging differ, so we set aside ample time for the diagnostic process before any procedure.
When Wrinkles Concern You
Expression lines on the forehead, glabella, and around the eyes differ in cause from the deep folds of nasolabial lines and around the mouth, so the treatments differ as well. Complex wrinkles that one procedure cannot address are improved naturally through a combination of two or three procedures. When you visit, we distinguish between wrinkles seen while making expressions and those seen at rest, and propose approaches suited to dynamic and static wrinkles respectively. As a principle, we don't add unnecessary procedures.
When pigmentation, melasma, or blemishes concern you
Melasma is not a pigment that disappears in a single procedure. A toning protocol that diagnoses the depth and activity of the pigment and reduces it gradually without irritation is the gentlest, low-risk approach. Freckles and age spots can be removed relatively quickly with pinpoint procedures. On your visit, we diagnose the depth and type of pigment separately (melasma, freckles, age spots, post-inflammatory pigmentation) and guide you through a step-by-step protocol that minimizes irritation. We take great care in planning energy output so that excessive high-power procedures don't trigger rebound pigmentation.
When Redness and Visible Vessels Concern You
Frequent facial flushing or visible capillaries on the nose and cheeks is not simple irritation but a vascular change. It should be reduced gradually with vessel-targeting lasers while avoiding irritation. When you visit, we assess the pattern of the redness (overall flushing, localized capillaries, whether inflammation accompanies it) and design the vessel-targeting wavelength and number of sessions. Restoring the sensitized skin barrier together is key to reducing recurrence.
When acne and breakouts are a concern
Acne calls for entirely different treatment in its active phase versus its scarring phase. Attempting scar procedures during the active stage can worsen inflammation, so staging the diagnosis is important. On your visit, we diagnose the degree of active inflammation and the type of scarring separately (pitted scars, red marks, pigmented marks). We combine extraction, medication, and lasers to match each stage, and carry out scar procedures only after the inflammation has settled.
When Pores Become a Concern
Pores cannot be reduced in their actual size, but by restoring the elasticity of the surrounding skin they can be made to appear visually smaller. Sebum control and collagen regeneration should proceed together. When you visit, we distinguish the type of pore (sebum-related, elasticity-related, scar-related) and combine sebum control and collagen-regeneration procedures step by step. As a principle, we avoid irritation that actually enlarges pores, such as excessive peeling or extraction.
When Volume Loss and Hollowing Concern You
Hollowing doesn't become natural simply by filling in volume. A smooth impression returns only when the skin's own thickness and moisture are restored. We design filler together with boosters and PRP. On your visit, we determine whether the cause of the hollowing lies in fat, bone structure, or skin, and design the balance between filling (filler) and restoration (boosters, PRP). As a principle, we don't overfill at once but supplement gradually.
When facial contour and the V-line concern you
We first look into non-surgical ways to refine your contour, without shaving bone. The key is diagnosing whether muscle, fat, or sagging is the main cause and combining the procedures that fit. When you visit, we determine through palpation and observation of your expressions whether the main cause of the change in your lines is muscle, fat, or sagging. Since different causes call for different procedures, we propose a combination matched to the diagnosis rather than whatever procedure is trending.
When your body shape concerns you
Body-contouring procedures are not about reducing weight but about refining lines in specific areas. They support better, lasting results when carried out alongside diet and exercise. On your visit, we check the fat, muscle, and circulation condition of each area and design the procedures together with lifestyle habits. We honestly explain that the procedure is not a substitute for weight loss but a supporting means of refining your lines.
When dryness and dullness are a concern
Dryness that surface cosmetics alone cannot resolve is caused by a lack of moisture within the dermis. When moisturizing ingredients are supplied directly to the dermal layer, the skin's texture and luster come back to life together. When you visit, we determine whether the cause of the dryness is the epidermal barrier or a lack of dermal moisture, and design boosters, regenerative care, and home care together. The goal is not temporary hydration but restoring the skin's own ability to hold moisture.
When a Dull Complexion Is on Your Mind
Dullness has no single cause. A clear, bright-toned impression returns only when dead skin cells, pigment, moisture, and complexion are addressed all together. On your visit, we diagnose the causes of dullness separately (dead skin cells, pigment, moisture, complexion), set priorities, and refine them step by step. Rather than adding every procedure at once, we proceed in order, starting with what makes the greatest difference.
If you're not sure which concern fits closest, you can begin with diagnosis. During the in-clinic consultation, we identify the underlying cause and set priorities together.
