Filler Lifting
Natural contour lifting created with high-density filler
Filler lifting at DA Clinic Myeongdong
Filler lifting is a procedure that precisely injects high-viscosity, highly cohesive hyaluronic-acid filler into key skeletal anchor points on the face to structurally support and lift sagging soft tissue. Rather than simple volume reinforcement, it is a design-led approach that places filler over the skeleton at the cheekbones, jaw and temples to lift the contour line.
Anchor point design based on MD Codes is applied. After assessing the patient's facial framework and sagging pattern, it is planned for each individual which points to inject, with what viscosity of filler, and in what amount.
All fillers we use are MFDS-approved genuine high-viscosity products, and if you wish you may directly verify the box serial before the procedure. Immediate correction with hyaluronidase is possible in case of side effects or dissatisfaction.
Benefits of Filler Lifting
Three-dimensional contour design across cheekbones, jaw and temples
Structural support for sagging cheeks and side-profile lines
Reduced depth of nasolabial folds and marionette lines
Immediate change possible without surgery
Immediate correction possible with hyaluronidase
Synergy with thread lifts and HIFU
MD Codes design
MD Codes is a standardized design guide for the structural anchor points over the facial framework. Anchor points and injection amounts are planned to fit each patient's bone structure and sagging pattern.
High-viscosity, cohesive filler
Achieving a lifting effect requires a highly cohesive, high-viscosity filler. It firmly supports sagging tissue over the bone structure, and a genuine filler of suitable viscosity is selected according to the area and depth.
Cannula-First Technique
We prioritise blunt-tip cannulas, which reduce the risk of vascular injury when injecting into deep planes (above the periosteum). A single entry point allows smooth distribution across a wider area.
Immediate Response with Dissolving Enzyme
Hyaluronidase is kept on hand at all times, allowing prompt correction or removal in cases of asymmetry, overcorrection, or dissatisfaction with the result.
Who may not be suitable for this treatment
If there is any infection or inflammation at the intended treatment site, we will proceed once it has resolved.
This treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
If you have a tendency toward keloid scarring or an autoimmune condition, please let us know in advance.
If you are taking anticoagulants, bruising may persist longer than usual; we recommend avoiding treatment within two weeks of an important event.
If you have experienced any issues at a previous filler site, we will assess that area first before deciding how to proceed.
Treatment Flow
Director Consultation & MD Code Design
The bone structure and sagging pattern are assessed, and the anchor points and injection amounts are planned based on MD Codes.
Genuine Product Verification & Anaesthesia
If you wish, you may inspect the genuine product box, followed by 30 minutes of rest with topical anaesthetic cream applied.
Cannula Injection
A blunt-tip cannula is used to inject precisely into the deep plane above the periosteum.
Line Refinement & Symmetry Adjustment
After injection, gentle massage ensures even distribution, and symmetry is fine-tuned with the aid of a mirror.
Aftercare Guidance & 2-Week Review
We provide guidance on initial swelling and schedule a review at 2 weeks, when the result has settled.
Recovery Process
Immediately after treatment
Slight swelling or redness may appear at the injection sites. Makeup can be applied right away.
1–3 days
Initial swelling may make the volume look slightly larger, which gradually subsides.
1–2 weeks
The filler stabilises and a natural contour settles in. This is the review point.
12–18 months
The effect gradually diminishes, and we will advise on the timing for a follow-up treatment.
Results and recovery vary from person to person.
Post-treatment precautions
Please avoid saunas, steam rooms and strenuous exercise for 24 hours after the procedure.
Do not press firmly or massage the treated area.
Please refrain from alcohol for 2–3 days, as it may worsen bruising.
Initial swelling may occur for 1–2 weeks before the filler settles naturally.
If unusual symptoms (severe pain, pallor or bluish discolouration) occur, please visit the clinic immediately.
