Understanding the Treatment

Uses oxygen in a high-pressure environment.

Hyperbaric oxygen is a treatment that uses oxygen in a pressurized environment. Its process and suitability are different from ordinary oxygen supply or oxygen care for the skin surface.

DA’s fee guide includes IBEX hyperbaric oxygen. Suitability is checked according to the purpose of use and health status, and it is not described as a care that guarantees skin recovery or fatigue improvement for everyone.

DA’s Treatment Plan

Guidance on entry preparation and communication methods.

DA explains the purpose of use, pressure adaptation, and how to report discomfort during treatment.

See the Actual Process
Check ears, respiratory system, and health status

Ear and sinus problems, colds, lung disease, recent surgery, medications, and discomfort in enclosed spaces are checked. Depending on the condition, use may be postponed or other care may be needed.

Guidance on pressure changes and communication methods

When pressure changes, the ears may feel blocked, so the adaptation method and the procedure for reporting pain are explained. You are guided on the chamber’s observation and communication devices before entering.

Including the total visit time

The schedule, including preparation, pressure adaptation, treatment, and completion time, is explained. If receiving it together with a skin procedure, the reason and order are also clearly separated.

Understanding the Components

Review the treatment process before your appointment.

Check the actual treatment conditions along with the device name.

IBEX Hyperbaric Oxygen

We explain the time involved, including how the actual chamber is used, the settings, and preparation. We also review the medical reasons for hyperbaric oxygen and the expected scope of treatment.

Clothing and items to bring

There are clothing and item restrictions suited to a high-pressure, oxygen-rich environment. Please prepare according to the hospital’s instructions and check whether electronic devices, cosmetics, and other items may be brought in.

Difference from skin care

This is separate from surface skin care such as O2Derm. A shared word like “oxygen” does not mean the same effects or process.

From Your Visit to Follow-up Checks

This is how the treatment progresses.

Preparation and recovery vary depending on the selected area and method. Please also let us know about any important schedules and your previous treatment experience.

  1. Check suitability and purpose

We review the purpose of use and any ear or respiratory conditions, medication history, and surgical history.

  2. Preparation and treatment guidance

We check clothing and items to bring, and explain pressure adaptation and how to communicate during treatment.

  3. Entry and pressure adaptation

While the pressure changes, we check for ear discomfort and your condition. Do not endure pain; let us know immediately.

  4. Check your condition during treatment

Proceed as instructed and let us know about any tightness, ear pain, or breathing discomfort.

  5. Completion and check before leaving

After the pressure is adjusted and treatment ends, we check for ear discomfort, dizziness, and other symptoms, and provide follow-up precautions.

What to Know Before and After Treatment

Please manage your skin like this after the procedure.

Ear discomfort
If a blocked feeling or pain persists, please inform the clinic.
Breathing and whole-body symptoms
Acute symptoms such as chest pain or shortness of breath require immediate medical attention.
Next treatment
We review the treatment purpose together with your response and any discomfort, then decide whether it is needed. We do not repeat it simply on the assumption that more frequent treatment is better.
