Tattoo removal

Tattoo Removal

The process also differs depending on the tattoo you want removed, its color, and its depth.
Black lettering, color tattoos, semi-permanent eyebrow makeup. Along with size, the color composition and prior treatment history are important.

Before Treatment, Did You Have These Concerns?

“How many sessions would it take to remove it without a trace?”

Because it is difficult to know the exact ink type and depth, it is hard to determine the number of sessions from the start. Please talk about why you want it removed and your target timing, and also check any marks that may remain.

What kind of tattoo would you like to remove?

Please also tell us the size, color, when it was treated, and any touch-up history.

Eyebrows · semi-permanent makeup

Eyebrows with shape and residual color that are bothering you

We check the composition of the semi-permanent pigment and the number of previous touch-ups.

Please check together

Depending on the type of pigment, the color may change after laser treatment or become darker.

The scope of the procedure and suitability are determined after consultation.

Understanding the Treatment

The response varies depending on the color and depth of the ink.

Tattoo removal laser targets the pigment in the ink. The response varies depending on the ink color, depth, and density, whether it is a cover-up tattoo, and previous treatments, so it is often planned over multiple sessions.

Black lettering, color tattoos, and eyebrow permanent makeup are not under the same conditions. First decide whether the goal is complete removal or fading for a cover-up, and discuss any remaining color and skin marks as well.

DA’s Treatment Plan

We align the goal for how much to remove.

DA does not decide the number of sessions based only on tattoo size; it also looks at the ink and the skin’s response.

Check the color and treatment history

We review the tattoo date, any cover-up history, the number of previous removal sessions, and changes in color or scarring.

Set the removal goal and area together

We match the actual treatment boundaries to the pricing categories for lettering, business-card-sized tattoos, coloured tattoos and eyebrows. The estimated number of sessions may change with progress.

Allow time for the skin to recover

We check recovery of the wound and skin color before the remaining ink. After sufficient recovery, we decide the next treatment method and scope.

Understanding the Components

Different tattoo types require different checks.

Please confirm the treatment boundary along with the area and number of sessions listed in the price table.

Lettering · business-card-sized tattoos

We check not only the length of the letters but also the actual area covered and ink density. Fading for cover-up can also be set as a consultation goal.

Color tattoos

Different colors respond to different wavelengths, so the response may be uneven. We also explain the possibility that some colors may remain, along with the device and method used.

Eyebrow tattoos

Protection is needed because the area is close to the eyes. Permanent makeup pigment may also change color, such as becoming darker after treatment, so please share any previous procedure information.

From Your Visit to Follow-up Checks

This is how the treatment progresses.

Preparation and recovery vary depending on the selected area and method. Please also let us know about any important schedules and your previous treatment experience.

  1. Check the ink and skin

We review the color, area, tattoo date, and previous removal response.

  2. Decide the treatment goal and cost range

We explain the goal of complete removal or fading, the area and session plan, and any marks that may remain.

  3. Anesthesia and protection

We provide eye protection appropriate to the location, skin preparation, and pain management if needed.

  4. Laser treatment

Applied according to the ink and skin condition. For permanent makeup or special pigments, color-change reactions are also considered.

  5. Dressing and progress check

We explain wound care, how to respond to blisters, sun protection, and how we determine when to proceed with the next treatment.

What to Know Before and After Treatment

Please manage your skin like this after the procedure.

Blisters and scabs
Do not pop or remove them yourself; follow the wound care instructions provided.
Skin tone and marks
Pigmentation, loss of color, and scarring may occur. Fading of the ink and return of the skin to its original state are different matters.
Next procedure
We proceed after checking the wound and skin reaction. Repeating it sooner does not necessarily mean faster removal.

    FAQ

    Questions to Ask Before Deciding.

Can it be removed in one session?

Repeated treatments are often needed, depending on the tattoo and skin response. It is difficult to guarantee the number of sessions or complete removal.

The eyebrow tattoo remains red or yellow.

We need to check the pigment used initially and the response to previous removal treatments. Photos of the remaining color or treatment records will be helpful.

When should I have the next treatment?

The skin needs time to recover. Rather than repeating treatment quickly because color remains, please follow the recommended interval based on your progress.

How many sessions will it take to remove it completely?

It is difficult to determine in advance because the ink and skin conditions differ. We update the plan based on the initial response and remaining color.

Can I continue removal started at another clinic?

Whether this is possible is confirmed through consultation. If you have previous dates, device information, reactions, and photos, they can help us understand your current skin.

Results and recovery vary by individual, and all procedures carry a risk of side effects.
