Spot removal Aftercare Instructions

Please follow these after today's treatment. Recovery can differ from person to person.

  1. Do not pick at crusts—let them fall off on their own.

  2. Apply hydrocolloid/healing patches as instructed. If they lift from contact with water, replace them with fresh ones.

  3. Apply the prescribed ointment as instructed.

  4. Avoid sauna, swimming pools, and hot baths until the wound heals (usually 1–2 weeks). Showering is fine.

  5. Apply sunscreen even after the crust has fallen off. Redness or pigmentation may remain for some time.

  6. Contact us if pain, swelling, or warmth worsens, or if you develop pus, yellow crusts, fever, or bleeding that does not stop.

  7. If a removed lesion regrows or changes in shape or color, please see us right away.
