Before Treatment, Did You Have These Concerns?
“I had Fraxel, but the deep scars are still there.”
It is difficult to make all scars improve to the same degree with one type of laser. Please consider the remaining scar type together with the time available for recovery.
Explore based on my concerns
We look at pores and scars separately.
Whether Potenza, PicoSure Pro, and PicoPlus can be used and which mode is selected depends on the skin’s contours and condition.

Pores
Pores that look enlarged and the surrounding skin texture
We consider sebum, elasticity, and any current inflammation together.
Rather than aiming to eliminate pores completely, discuss a realistic range of improvement.
The scope of the procedure and suitability are determined after consultation.
Understanding the Treatment
We also assess scar depth and tethering.
Skin with prominent pores and depressed scars have different causes and treatment goals. Scars are also approached differently depending on whether they are broadly depressed, sharply defined, or deep and narrow. If the tissue underneath is tethering the skin, treatments that address only the surface may have limitations.
Laser, needle RF, subcision, and injection procedures each address different concerns. Rather than adding everything at once, we combine the roles that are needed and proceed step by step while observing changes after recovery and the remaining scars.
DA’s Treatment Plan
Choose the method based on the type of scar.
DA looks at the scar’s shape, adhesion, and current inflammation together, then divides the plan by area.
See the Actual ProcessFirst, make a scar map
We separate areas with noticeable indentations, borders, or pulling, as well as enlarged pores concerns. If active acne is present, treatments to reduce new scars are considered together.
Be clear about why a procedure is chosen
We explain what is being addressed: surface texture, adhesions, or sunken areas. Even when several treatments are suggested, we discuss the role of each process and the recovery burden together.
After recovery, make the next choice
We distinguish the appearance right after swelling makes the skin look smoother from the actual change. Rather than automatically repeating the same session, we adjust based on the remaining scar shape and recovery response.
Understanding the Components
Learn about scar treatment methods.
The 16 items in the cost guide are divided by device, area, number of sessions, and the composition of injection procedures.
Potenza Needle RF · Pumping
Needle RF delivers radiofrequency through micro-needles. In pumping configurations, the material and method used with the tip must also be distinguished, and the two items are not considered the same process.
Pico Fraxel · Pico Plus · Butterfly Zone
We distinguish between fractional and full-field pico-based treatment and the extent of the area treated. We check the boundaries of the Butterfly Zone and the device and tip used, then determine the expected changes in pores and texture.
Deep scar Fraxel
For deep scar items, recovery varies depending on the actual device and method used. We do not determine from the procedure name alone whether it is non-ablative or ablative, or how long scabbing will last, and we explain the composition and care method.
Juvelook subcision
Subcision is a procedure that releases adhesions beneath the skin. In configurations that use Juvelook together, we explain separately the process of treating adhesions, the role of the injected product, and the risks of each.
Deep scar filler
This is an injection procedure that considers support for sunken areas. It is selected by looking at the scar location, adhesions, and product suitability, and the risks of fillers, including vascular complications, are reviewed as well.
From Your Visit to Follow-up Checks
This is how the treatment progresses.
Preparation and recovery vary depending on the selected area and method. Please also let us know about any important schedules and your previous treatment experience.
Check shape and inflammation
We examine the scar’s border, depth, adhesions, skin condition, and response to previous treatment.
Procedure and session plan
For each area, we explain which treatments are needed and the costs and recovery related to tips, products, and anesthesia.
Anesthesia and skin preparation
Preparation is adjusted to the treatment area and degree of invasiveness. We also consider the visit time, including anesthesia, and the schedule after going home.
Proceed with the selected treatment
We apply the planned procedure by area among laser, Needle RF, adhesion release, or injection.
Wound care and reevaluation
We provide guidance on dressing, moisturizing, sun protection, and symptoms that require contact. After recovery, we decide the next approach by looking at the remaining scar shape.
What to Know Before and After Treatment
Please manage your skin like this after the procedure.
- While the skin is recovering
- Do not pick off scabs or peeling skin, and follow the wound care and cleansing instructions appropriate for the procedure.
- If recovery differs from the plan
- Please let the clinic know if pain worsens, redness or discharge appears, or numbness or changes in skin color last for a long time.
- Assessment of change
- After swelling goes down, we evaluate texture and indentations. We do not guarantee a result in which every trace is completely gone.

FAQ
Questions to Ask Before Deciding.
How many sessions are needed for smooth skin?
It varies depending on the scar type, depth, and skin response. Rather than complete removal, set a realistic range of improvement and adjust while monitoring progress.
Are Potenza and Pico Fraxel the same?
Needle-based energy treatments and laser-based treatments differ in procedure and recovery. Please confirm the actual tip, mode, and intended purpose.
Can I receive it if I have acne?
Current inflammation may need to be addressed first. Please discuss the order of treatment for new lesions and remaining scars.
Do you treat pores and scars with the same procedure?
There may be overlapping methods, but the goals are different. It is better to distinguish treatment for areas with only enlarged pores from treatment for adherent scars.
Is subcision a laser?
It is not a laser, but a procedure that addresses adhesions beneath the skin. Any laser or injection procedure performed together is a separate step, and recovery burden such as bruising, bleeding, and hematoma is also considered.
Results and recovery vary by individual, and all procedures carry a risk of side effects.
