We look at wrinkles that form with muscle movement, such as crow’s feet when smiling and the glabellar lines when frowning. Botox is a procedure that temporarily reduces the contraction of these muscles.

Botox is a procedure that reduces muscle movement.
Botox is a procedure that uses botulinum toxin to temporarily reduce the contraction signals transmitted from nerves to muscles. It addresses wrinkles that form with facial expressions and developed muscles, and its role is different from filler, which adds volume to sunken areas.
Even for the same crow’s feet, expected changes differ depending on whether they appear only when smiling or remain even at rest. This is why we look beyond the depth of the wrinkle and also observe how the brow or nearby muscles move when smiling.

We look at lines that remain at rest, folds that appear when smiling or frowning, and left-right movement together. We determine the treatment area by distinguishing what may change as muscle movement is reduced from what needs a different approach.
We also look at the role of the muscle you want to reduce.
The masseter is used for chewing, and the trapezius and calves are used for posture and exercise. Taking into account everyday muscle use and discomfort from previous procedures, we consider the balance between contour changes and function.
The basis for the next procedure is the previous response.
We use the product and dose used, the treated area, when the effect was felt, and any uncomfortable reactions as the basis for the next plan. Rather than repeating the same amount immediately just because the effect felt insufficient, we first look into the reason.
Understanding the Components

Nabota·Liztox / Coretox / Xeomin / Allergan
We refer to the product used in the previous procedure and the response to it when making a selection. Since the unit standard differs by product, it is difficult to compare the same numbers directly. ‘Nabota or Liztox’ confirms the product to be used before the procedure.
Expression lines and jaw contour
Wrinkles are examined by the contraction that occurs when making expressions, while the jaw is assessed by the developed masseter and facial balance. The number of areas for wrinkle Botox and the application range for 50U to the jaw are separate standards.
Skin Botox and Body Botox
Skin Botox is applied by separately determining the method and scope for concerns such as fine lines and skin texture. 1 and 3cc indicate volume. Body 100·200U is planned by area, taking into account muscle size and everyday use.
Special-area wrinkles·salivary glands·temporalis muscle
Special-area wrinkles, salivary glands, and the temporalis muscle are different anatomical areas. We do not apply the same procedure simply because the area around the jaw looks thick; we first distinguish the actual cause and the purpose of treatment.
Hyperhidrosis
This is a consultation to address the inconvenience caused by sweating. Because the purpose differs from wrinkle and contour procedures, we confirm the location and severity of the symptoms, the cause, and any previous treatment experience before deciding whether to apply it.

Check facial expressions and previous procedures
We look at your usual state and how you smile or apply force. We also discuss the recent toxin product, area, and timing, as well as the changes you want and the changes you want to avoid.

Prepare the skin and confirm the product

- Changes Visible Right Away
- Bruising marks or swelling are distinguished from the effect itself. We do not judge side-to-side differences or an insufficient amount based only on the appearance immediately after the procedure, and we do not add more injections then.
- Changes to Monitor Later
- We look at changes that match the purpose of the procedure, such as how much facial movement there is and how it feels when chewing or exercising, or any discomfort from sweating. For wrinkles and the chin/body, the process of visible change may not be the same.
- When Deciding on the Next Treatment
- We review both the changes you wanted and the function you want to maintain. Please inform the clinic if you experience unexpected eyelid heaviness or functional discomfort, and seek immediate medical care for severe symptoms such as difficulty swallowing or breathing.

What is the difference between Botox and fillers?
Botox temporarily reduces signals sent to the muscles, helping ease contraction. Not every wrinkle means the same procedure is needed.

Ask before deciding.
There may be a sharp stinging sensation during injection, and afterward there may be injection marks, bruising, or swelling. If you have an important photo shoot or event, please let us know in advance. We will discuss pain-reduction methods such as anesthesia or cooling, and preparation time, according to the area.
As the strength of the jaw muscles decreases, chewing may feel less forceful or more tiring. Please let us know about foods that are hard to chew, jaw pain, or any discomfort you experienced after previous treatments. If eating becomes difficult or discomfort persists, please contact the clinic.
It is not possible to conclude resistance simply because the effect feels shorter or weaker. Previous products, dosage, treatment intervals, and treatment areas should all be checked together. Rather than repeating additional treatments on your own when the effect seems insufficient, please consult us based on your previous records.
You may also mention hyperhidrosis and teeth grinding or clenching during the consultation. The purpose and points to check are different from wrinkle or facial contour treatments. We first check the cause of the symptoms and any discomfort in daily life, and then provide separate guidance on whether treatment is possible and the cost.
Expression lines generally begin to change after 3~7 days, and the effect usually lasts about 3~4 months, though it may last longer in some cases. This varies depending on the area, product, dosage, and individual condition, so please check separately during the consultation rather than assuming the jaw or body treatment course will be the same.
Whether a return visit is needed should be determined based on your condition and progress. Additional injection is not always necessary. Please confirm the timing of a follow-up visit, whether correction is possible, and whether there is an additional cost before the procedure.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning a pregnancy, please let us know before your consultation. Also tell us if there is inflammation or infection in the treatment area, if you are taking any medications, have a neuromuscular disorder, have allergies, or have recently had another toxin treatment. Whether treatment is possible must be individually determined by the medical team.
There are treatments that may be considered together, but the order and interval vary depending on the type and area. If you let us know about any scheduled treatments and treatments you have recently received, we can review them together.
They cannot be compared directly. cc is a volume measurement, while U is the product’s active unit. To understand the treatment plan, the product, dilution, treatment purpose, and injection area must all be considered.
We decide on retreatment based on how much movement and discomfort have returned and on the previous response. We also review any remaining effect and any recent toxin treatments in other areas.
