Before Treatment, Did You Have These Concerns?
“What if it looks overdone after it’s inserted?”
The front view is not the only important one; your smile and side profile matter as well. Distinguish between shadows that stand out in photos and the areas that are actually hollow, and let us know first the impression you want to keep.
Explore based on my concerns
The reason for filling differs by area.
If sagging or facial movement is the main cause, methods other than fillers may be considered.

Cheeks·front cheekbones
Shadows on the cheeks that look different depending on the light
We examine the location of the hollow and how it connects with the surrounding volume. Rather than filling a single point, we consider the proportions of the whole face together.
If you already have filler left in place, please tell us the product and when it was placed.
The scope of the procedure and suitability are determined after consultation.
Understanding the Treatment
Filler adds volume to sunken areas.
Filler is a procedure that improves shape by injecting a substance into areas that are sunken or lacking volume. Even with the same 1cc, the visible change differs depending on the product’s properties, the injection area, and the existing volume.
The shadow of the cheeks, the proportions of the lips, and the connection of the chin tip cannot be determined from the front alone. It is necessary to look at how the face appears in motion and how each area relates to the surrounding areas, and to distinguish actual volume loss from skin laxity in order to set a natural goal.
DA’s Treatment Plan
We consider the balance of the entire face.
At DA Clinic Myeongdong, filler consultation begins not with simply replicating the desired shape, but with defining the specific changes needed in the current face.
See the Actual ProcessRelationship between the front view, side view, and expression
We examine both the area that stands out and the contours around it. What we assess depends on the area: for lips, their shape when you smile; for the chin, its relationship to the lips and side profile.
Why products are selected to match the area
The same standard is not applied to areas that need support and areas that require soft movement. We consider the product’s properties, the injection location, and any previous filler history together.
Before adding more, start with the current condition
We distinguish swelling from actual volume and observe the course. If the existing product is unclear or if lumps or discomfort remain, we identify the cause before injecting more.
Understanding the Components
Please check the filler products and amounts.
Even within the same brand, there are different products. We do not determine the area by name alone; we consider the product characteristics, the approved use range, and the clinical judgment together.
Atiere, Rejuviel
Atiere Classic, Intensive, and Volume, as well as Rejuviel V, W, and C, are each listed at different prices. We provide separate guidance by the selected specific product name and amount.
Restylane, Belotero
We distinguish Restylane iLight and Kiss, and Belotero Soft, Balance, Intense, and Volume. Pricing units also differ, such as iLight 0.5ml and Belotero Volume 2cc.
Juvederm, Neuramis
Juvederm includes Voluma, Volift, and Volbella, and Neuramis includes Light, Volume, Deep, and Lidocaine. In addition to amount and price, we also explain the product characteristics needed for the treatment area.
Distinction from Juvelook Volume and Skinvive
Juvelook Volume differs in product and treatment course, so it is explained on a separate page. Skinvive is linked to skin booster in this guide and is not considered to have the same purpose as filler that adds volume.
From Your Visit to Follow-up Checks
This is how the treatment progresses.
Preparation and recovery vary depending on the selected area and method. Please also let us know about any important schedules and your previous treatment experience.
Check the shape and treatment history
Please check the areas that concern you in the front view, side view, and expressions. Also share any existing products, areas, timing, allergies, recent dental treatment, or other procedures.
Determine the area and product
Based on the desired change and the current volume, we decide the treatment area, product, and injection amount. We also explain the expected changes, risks, and conditions for any additional costs.
Design and skin preparation
We check the boundaries of the area and any left-right differences, and distinguish the product and volume. Anesthesia and skin preparation are carried out according to the actual procedure method.
Application by area and shape check
We inject using a method suited to the area and product while monitoring the shape and skin reaction. Please let us know right away if you feel anything unusual, such as severe pain or vision changes.
Recovery and follow-up plan
We explain how swelling subsides and which symptoms to watch for. Additional injection or correction is not decided based only on the immediate result; the product and the course are reviewed together.
What to Know Before and After Treatment
Please manage your skin like this after the procedure.
- Immediately after and during recovery
- We monitor bruising, swelling, and the actual volume separately. Please do not press the injection site forcefully or try to change the shape on your own.
- Changes that need prompt medical attention
- Severe pain, changes in skin color, or abnormal vision are not symptoms to simply watch and wait for. Contact the medical team immediately and seek urgent care.
- Next decision
- After the swelling subsides, we evaluate the desired change and any remaining discomfort together. Corrections, including hyaluronic acid dissolution, also differ in method and risk depending on the product.

FAQ
Questions to Ask Before Deciding.
How much difference does 1cc make?
It varies depending on the product, the area, and your existing volume. The same 1cc cannot create the same change in every case.
Can it be dissolved if I don’t like it?
Hyaluronic acid fillers may be considered for dissolution, but this does not apply to all fillers. The response varies depending on the product and your condition, and there may be additional risks and costs.
I don’t know what product I had before.
Please ask the clinic where you had the procedure for your records. If the product and timing are unclear, sufficient confirmation is needed before any additional injection.
Why is the price different for the same 1cc?
There are differences in the product, detailed formulation, treatment area, and composition. ml and cc are the same unit of volume, but the same volume does not always mean the same result.
Can different products be used for different areas?
This may vary depending on the movement of the area, the support needed, and the status of any previous procedures. It is best to decide after understanding why multiple products are used and the volume for each.
Results and recovery vary by individual, and all procedures carry a risk of side effects.
