Understanding the Treatment
Sculptra is a PLLA-based collagen-stimulating treatment.
Sculptra is an injectable containing poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It stimulates collagen production, with facial wrinkles and volume changes assessed gradually.
Immediate fullness includes the prepared solution and swelling. It is not the final result; further treatment depends on follow-up assessment.

What to Know Before and After Treatment

- Injection marks, bruising, swelling and tenderness may occur. Resume washing, makeup and exercise as instructed.
- Massage and lump care
- Follow the massage method and duration advised after treatment. Seek care for persistent lumps, redness or pain instead of pressing firmly on your own.
- Symptoms requiring immediate care
- If you develop severe pain, whitening of the skin or vision changes, notify a healthcare professional and seek care immediately.

Is it the same product as Juvelook Volume?
They are different products. Sculptra is based on PLLA, while Juvelook Volume is based on PDLLA and hyaluronic acid, so equal volumes should not be compared directly.
Can I have it just before an important event?
Allow for gradual changes as well as recovery from bruising and swelling. Tell us about upcoming events during consultation.
Results and recovery vary by individual, and all procedures carry a risk of side effects.
