Skin boosters

Skin booster

We look at what is needed for skin that makeup does not sit well on.
Dryness, rough skin texture, and fine lines may feel related, but the needed approach can differ. Please look first at your current skin concerns rather than the product name.

Before Treatment, Did You Have These Concerns?

“Rejuran, Juvelook, skin booster… which one is right for my skin?”

Rather than receiving everything that is said to be good, try to choose the one concern you want to improve most. Pain, injection marks, and worries about returning to daily life are also part of the decision.

Explore based on my concerns

Each product requires different questions to check.

We review the product composition, application method, dosage, and the actual treatment area together.

The scope of the procedure and suitability are determined after consultation.

Understanding the Treatment

The ingredients and injection methods are different.

A skin booster does not refer to just one product or one procedure. Depending on whether the concern is hydration, skin texture, fine wrinkles, pores, or something else, the ingredients, products, and application methods should be considered separately.

PN, PDRN, hyaluronic acid, and PDLLA are different ingredient groups. Rather than comparing only the same cc or a similar nickname, it is best to confirm the actual product and dose, as well as how it is applied to the skin and the recovery process.

DA’s Treatment Plan

We select products that match your skin concerns.

DA first distinguishes dryness, texture, and fine wrinkles, then determines the necessary product and treatment area.

See the Actual Process
Distinguish dryness from inflammation

Even if the skin feels tight, if it is red and irritated, calming the skin and supporting the barrier should be considered first. Adding injections is not always the first step.

Ingredients, area, and method together

Even within the same product group, the dose, pain, bumps, and bruising can differ depending on the area, such as around the eyes or cheeks, and the application method. If multiple products are suggested, we explain the role of each one.

Evaluate skin texture and discomfort together

We do not judge only by immediate hydration or swelling; we also look at skin texture and remaining concerns after recovery. The interval between sessions is determined based on the product and the skin’s response.

Understanding the Components

Compare skin booster products.

Check not only the brand name, but also the specific product name and the amount used.

Rejuran I

A PN-based Rejuran product consulted for fine-wrinkle concerns in thin skin such as around the eyes. We assess eye movement and skin thickness, and determine the treatment area while considering bumps, bruising, and swelling.

Rejuran HB

This product contains polynucleotide (PN), hyaluronic acid, and lidocaine, a local anesthetic. Even with lidocaine, pain does not disappear completely, and we check for allergies to the ingredients as well as the actual product and dose.

Rejuran Healer

A PN-based product used for facial wrinkle concerns. We distinguish it from HB in composition and do not consider the same amount necessary for the entire face. We also differentiate it from cosmetics with the same name as the injectable product.

skin booster

Guidance is provided in 2cc and 4cc formulations. Along with the name water glow, we confirm the actual ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, and the injection method used.

Juvelook Skin

A product group based on PDLLA and hyaluronic acid, consulted for skin concerns. We distinguish it from Juvelook Volume in product and goal, and also explain the possibility of lumps or nodules.

PDRN

It is not used with the same meaning as PN product names. We explain the actual product, ingredients, dose, and application route separately.

Skinvive

A hyaluronic-acid-based product consulted for concerns about skin smoothness and texture. It is not viewed as having the same goal as a volume filler, and the treatment area and course are explained separately.

From Your Visit to Follow-up Checks

This is how the treatment progresses.

Preparation and recovery vary depending on the selected area and method. Please also let us know about any important schedules and your previous treatment experience.

  1. Check the skin and prior products

Checks dryness, fine wrinkles, texture, inflammation, and any prior injection treatments or allergies.

  2. Determine product and method

Explains the specific product, dose, treatment area, method and cost, as well as the expected bumps, swelling, and bruising.

  3. Product check and preparation

The skin is prepared, and anesthesia and other preparations are carried out according to the product and method.

  4. Application by area

Applied in the planned way according to the skin condition of areas such as around the eyes and cheeks, while checking pain and reactions.

  5. Soothing and follow-up guidance

Guidance is provided on care of the injection site, how to contact us if discomfort occurs, and the changes to look for after recovery.

What to Know Before and After Treatment

Please manage your skin like this after the procedure.

Bumps and bruising
Temporary bumps, swelling, and bruising vary depending on the product and method. Do not press or flatten them on your own, and do not massage forcefully.
Persistent reactions
Lumps, nodules, or worsening redness and pain need to be checked. Please also let us know the name of the injected product.
Repeat treatment and combination
After observing recovery and skin changes, the next treatment is decided. Rather than repeatedly layering new products, prior reactions are taken into account.

FAQ

Questions to Ask Before Deciding.

Is this the same as skin botox?

The product and the purpose of the procedure are different. Even if the skin concerns are similar, do not view them as the same procedure; please confirm the suitability of each.

How long do injection marks remain?

It varies depending on the product, injection method, and skin condition. Please discuss recovery time based on any important schedule.

Is it better to receive multiple products together?

First confirm whether they need to be done together and the role of each one. More products do not necessarily mean a more suitable treatment.

Are PN and PDRN the same?

They are related groups of ingredients, but they cannot be treated as the same product or dose. We check the actual product name and composition, as well as the application method.

Will getting a skin booster make my face bigger like filler?

The product and purpose are different. Please distinguish the immediate volume and swelling after injection from long-term changes in volume, and let us know in advance if there are changes you do not want.

Results and recovery vary by individual, and all procedures carry a risk of side effects.
