HPV vaccination
Gardasil 9
Before Treatment, Did You Have These Concerns?
“I started before but stopped. Do I need to start again?”
Checking the vaccine product and date you received it helps determine the next plan. If you have records, please bring them, and let us know any parts you are unsure about as they are.
Starting point for consultation
Start based on your current vaccination history.
The required number of doses and intervals will be explained based on your individual vaccination history and health status.

First vaccination
When considering vaccination for the first time
We review age, existing conditions, allergies, and whether you are pregnant, and discuss eligibility and the schedule.
HPV vaccination is not a treatment for an existing infection.
The scope of the procedure and suitability are determined after consultation.
Understanding the Treatment
We set the schedule according to your vaccination history.
Gardasil 9 is a vaccine intended to help prevent diseases associated with 9 types of HPV. It is not an injection that treats an existing HPV infection or lesion, and needed screenings continue after vaccination.
The number of doses and the schedule vary depending on the age at the first dose, previous vaccination records, and health status. We review your records, including vaccinations received at other clinics, and plan the remaining schedule.
DA’s Treatment Plan
We will explain the current dose and the next schedule together.
DA explains whether you can be vaccinated, which dose it is, and the interval until the next dose.
See the Actual ProcessCheck the product and date together
We check the name of the previous vaccine and each vaccination date. If you are unsure, we first review the records to reduce unnecessary duplication.
Health status and adverse reactions on the day
We check for a history of severe allergies, current fever or illness, possible pregnancy, immune status, and more before deciding whether to vaccinate.
Cost and remaining schedule guidance
We explain the cost of this dose, the meaning of the total number of doses, and the next recommended timing separately. If you have missed a scheduled dose, we adjust it based on your existing records.
Understanding the Components
The schedule varies depending on the age at the first dose.
Based on domestic Gardasil 9 standards, the actual schedule is determined according to your vaccination history and health status.
When starting at ages 9–14
A typical 2-dose schedule is the first dose and another dose 6–12 months later. Additional doses may be needed depending on immune status or the actual interval.
When starting at age 15 or older
A typical 3-dose schedule is the first dose, then at 2 months and 6 months. We confirm the approved indication for the product together with your vaccination history.
Previous vaccinations and delayed schedules
Do not decide on your own that you need to start over from the beginning; check the vaccine name and dates. The remaining doses and intervals are adjusted during the consultation.
From Your Visit to Follow-up Checks
This is how the treatment progresses.
Preparation and recovery vary depending on the selected area and method. Please also let us know about any important schedules and your previous treatment experience.
Records and pre-vaccination screening
We confirm your date of birth, vaccine name, previous dates, allergies, and health status on the day of vaccination.
Schedule and explanation
We explain this visit, the remaining schedule, expected reactions, and cost.
Vaccination
We check the product and administer it as an intramuscular injection into the deltoid muscle.
After-vaccination observation
Please stay for the guided observation period so we can check for adverse reactions. Tell us right away if you feel dizzy or short of breath.
Records and next schedule
We provide your vaccination record, the timing of your next visit, and symptoms to watch for after returning home.
