IV consultation

IV Drip & Nutritional Injections

If you still feel tired, start by checking what you need.
With IV fluids and nutritional injections, the actual ingredients and purpose are more important than the name. We first discuss the cause of symptoms and your health status.

Before Treatment, Did You Have These Concerns?

“Would an IV drip help when I’m tired?”

The reasons for fatigue vary, from lack of sleep or problems with eating to other conditions. Please tell us when the symptoms started and any discomfort that occurs along with them, and check whether IV fluids are needed.

Starting point for consultation

What brought you here?

We also check whether tests or other treatment should come first.

Fatigue, condition

Fatigue that remains even after resting

We look at the duration, sleep, meals, and accompanying symptoms.

Please check together

Rather than simply repeating IV fluids, the cause of persistent symptoms should be identified.

The scope of the procedure and suitability are determined after consultation.

Understanding the Treatment

Check the necessary ingredients and purpose of administration.

Fatigue can have many causes, from sleep and eating problems to disease. IV fluids and nutrient injections are medical procedures in which the substances and amounts are determined for the situation needed; they are not a one-size-fits-all combination for everyone simply because they feel tired.

Nicknames such as garlic, white jade, and Cinderella do not sufficiently explain the actual ingredients and dosage. Names like whitening, immunity, and diet also do not indicate the ingredients. Please check the administered ingredients and purpose separately.

DA’s Treatment Plan

We first look into the cause of fatigue.

DA views cause assessment, the need for ingredients, and observation during administration as one process.

See the Actual Process
Persistent fatigue: start with the cause

We check when the symptoms began, any accompanying discomfort, sleep, diet, and existing conditions. We also distinguish situations in which tests or other care should come first.

Check for duplicate ingredients and health conditions

We check medications, supplements, kidney and heart conditions, and allergies. The amount and ingredients in the IV are not decided by name or price alone.

Distinguish ingredients, route, and time

We explain the actual product and amount administered, whether it is intravenous fluid or another injection, and the observation and expected time. The goal is not to finish quickly.

Understanding the Components

The name of the IV and its actual ingredients must be distinguished.

Please check the actual ingredients added to the IV, along with its name, and the purpose of administration.

DA Clinic skin-whitening IV · Baekok · Cinderella

These are registered under different product names. We distinguish the actual ingredients, dosage, and purpose of use, and do not uniformly expect changes in skin tone or whitening effects.

Garlic IV · Vitamin C IV · Vitamin D · Nutrition

Even if the name suggests certain ingredients, we check the actual product, amount, and route of administration. We also consider duplication with currently taken supplements and risks based on health status.

Arginine IV · Arginine Booster

We distinguish the actual composition and method of administration for these two items. Even if they contain the same ingredient name, that does not mean the same amount or the same process.

Diet · Recovery from fatigue · Antioxidant energy · Immunity · Placenta Gold

These are products named after their purpose or nickname. We do not interpret them as promising weight loss, infection treatment, or improved immunity, and first explain the actual substance and why it is needed.

From Your Visit to Follow-up Checks

This is how the treatment progresses.

Preparation and recovery vary depending on the selected area and method. Please also let us know about any important schedules and your previous treatment experience.

  1. Check symptoms and medical history

We check current symptoms such as fatigue and pain, as well as conditions, allergies, medications, and supplements.

  2. Decide necessity and composition

We explain whether an injection or IV is needed, and the actual ingredients, amount, route of administration, and cost.

  3. Preparation for administration

We prepare according to the chosen method and explain symptoms to report during the procedure and the expected time.

  4. Administration and condition check

We check for local reactions such as pain and swelling at the injection site, as well as systemic reactions such as dizziness and chest tightness.

  5. Completion and next plan

We check the injection site and your condition, and provide discharge precautions and a plan for evaluating persistent symptoms.

What to Know Before and After Treatment

Please manage your skin like this after the procedure.

Injection site
Bruising, pain, and swelling may occur. Please contact us if redness and pain worsen or persist.
Acute reaction
Shortness of breath, hives over the body, or severe dizziness should be reported to medical staff immediately, and you should receive care.
Recurrent fatigue
If fatigue recurs even after the IV, we reassess the cause. We do not decide on repeated administration based only on a temporary change in condition.

    FAQ

    Questions to Ask Before Deciding.

Does fluid with the same name also have the same ingredients?

You cannot know the ingredients from the hospital’s own name or nickname alone. Please ask about the actual ingredients and dosage being administered.

Is it better to receive it more often?

Whether it is needed and the interval should be determined according to your condition and the ingredients. If fatigue keeps recurring, an evaluation of the cause may be needed.

Can it be used together with oral supplements?

Duplicate ingredients, existing conditions, and medications must be checked. Please provide a list of the products you take.

    Can it replace oral supplements?

The need for treatment and the route of administration vary depending on the condition and the ingredients. In a healthy person, injections are not always the better way to provide nutrition.

Does receiving an IV drip for body aches treat an infection?

A product name does not mean treatment of the cause. Evaluation and any necessary treatment for the cause of fever or body aches come first.

Results and recovery vary by individual, and all procedures carry a risk of side effects.
