Ultrasound lifting

Ultrasound Lifting

Where did the change in your jawline begin?
A feeling of drooping and a feeling of lost volume are different. Please identify the areas of concern on the face and look at the differences in ultrasound devices.

Before Treatment, Did You Have These Concerns?

“If I lift, won’t my cheeks look more sunken?”

You may want to refine the jawline without reducing cheek volume. During your consultation, please discuss both the areas you want to change and the areas you want to keep.

Select Device

Even with the same ultrasound, the selection criteria differ.

Rather than comparing only by device name or number of shots, check how the energy is delivered and the treatment area.

Ultherapy Prime

Image review and treatment range

Ultherapy Prime is a device that checks tissue on imaging while delivering focused ultrasound. It works by creating a thermal response where the ultrasound energy converges to induce changes in the tissue, and it is different from surgery that pulls and fixes the skin from the outside.

The scope of the procedure and suitability are determined after consultation.

Understanding the Treatment

Ultrasound also delivers energy in different ways.

Ultrasound lifting is a procedure that delivers ultrasound energy to tissue to induce a thermal response. The focusing method, delivery form, and application site differ by device, so it is difficult to compare it as a single procedure based on the name ultrasound alone.

The reason skin may feel saggy can include skin laxity, localized fat, and reduced volume together. DA first distinguishes the areas that need change from the volume that should be preserved, rather than choosing a device first.

DA’s Treatment Plan

We look at the treatment area before the number of shots.

The reason for having multiple devices is not to use them all at once, but to select according to different concerns.

See the Actual Process
Front and side boundaries together

We divide and look at a blurred jawline, sagging cheeks, and areas that appear hollow. Even with the term sagging, we first specify what you want to change.

Connect the method and application site

We determine the needed role among image-guided focused ultrasound, a method that delivers a beam parallel to the dermis, and a method that selects the tip and mode.

Distinguish the first plan from the next decision

We first explain the area, shot allocation, and recovery burden, then adjust the next choice according to the progress. When adding another procedure, we also consider whether the roles of each step overlap.

Understanding the Components

Look at the differences between ultrasound devices.

Rather than placing numbers side by side, we compare the delivery method and the actual treatment setup.

Ultherapy Prime

We deliver focused ultrasound while confirming tissue contact with ultrasound imaging. Look at how imaging, tips, and area-specific planning are connected.

Sofwave

This method creates a thermal response in the dermis using a parallel ultrasound beam. It should not be simply compared with other ultrasound devices by the same shot count or depth.

Shurink Universe

For focused ultrasound devices, the actual cartridge, mode, and application range are important. Check the area-based composition of 300 and 600 shots.

LinearZ

This is an ultrasound device that adjusts Dot and Linear formats and depth. Look at what role the dot and line modes play in your current skin.

From Your Visit to Follow-up Checks

This is how the treatment progresses.

Preparation and recovery vary depending on the selected area and method. Please also let us know about any important schedules and your previous treatment experience.

  1. Check sagging and volume

Check the desired area, the volume to preserve, and any previous procedures, sensory changes, or pain experiences.

  2. Design by device and area

We explain the method, tip, and mode, along with the treatment amount by area, cost, and the expected range of change.

  3. Skin and device preparation

We prepare the skin and the device-specific setup, pain management, and image confirmation or cooling and protection process.

  4. Ultrasound application by area

Proceed with the selected method while checking contact and skin reaction. Please let us know about pain rather than enduring it.

  5. Immediate check and follow-up plan

We explain swelling, tenderness, sensory changes, and care methods, then set the next plan according to actual changes and recovery.

What to Know Before and After Treatment

Please manage your skin like this after the procedure.

Immediate reaction
There may be redness, swelling, tenderness, and warmth. Reactions and recovery vary by area and device.
Symptoms to report
Please tell the clinic if you have blisters, worsening pain, or ongoing changes in sensation. Even with ultrasound treatment, there are risks such as burns and contour changes.
When checking progress
We look separately at the appearance caused by swelling and the changes that follow. If there is concern about hollowing or a sense that the change is insufficient, we also check this before the next plan.

It’s easier to understand the price, too.

    FAQ

    Questions to Ask Before Deciding.

    Is more shots better?

It is difficult to compare the number of shots from different devices as if they were the same amount. Please first check the tip, the treatment range, and the areas that actually need treatment.

Is Sofwave the same method as Ulthera?

Both use ultrasound, but they differ in how energy is delivered and the layers they mainly target. We explain them separately so they are not chosen simply as the same HIFU procedure.

    Will one session be enough?

It depends on the desired change, the degree of sagging, and the response to previous procedures. Please first discuss the range of results that can be expected from a non-surgical procedure.

Do ultrasound and radiofrequency need to be done together?

They may be considered when different roles are needed, but they are not always performed together. Decisions are made by looking at the goal, treatment area, recovery burden, and total cost.

Why do shot counts differ by device?

The way energy is delivered in a single shot and the treated area are different. Even if the numbers are the same, they cannot be converted into the same amount or the same effect.

Results and recovery vary by individual, and all procedures carry a risk of side effects.
