Thread lifting

Thread lifting

We look at the area you want to lift and the expression you want to keep.
Before deciding the number of threads, please look at the area of sagging, the skin condition, and the time available for recovery.

Before Treatment, Did You Have These Concerns?

“Will it look pulled or become uneven?”

How it feels when smiling or moving the mouth is also an important concern. Please let us know during the consultation the line you want, the changes you want to avoid, and the location of any previous thread treatment.

Which area is concerning you?

Rather than a single photo, the areas that have changed during your usual expressions and movements are helpful.

We check whether the shadow around the nasolabial area is connected to cheek sagging and whether volume loss is also present.

Please check together

We do not decide the number of threads with the sole goal of removing one deep line.

Understanding the Treatment

A treatment that supports tissue with threads.

Thread lifting is a procedure in which threads are placed under the skin to support tissue. The role changes depending on the thread shape, structure, and material, as well as the insertion site and direction, so it is difficult to understand the treatment by the number alone.

For the general thread lifting and Jumber Thread shown in the price list, the actual product and purpose must be distinguished. Because the direction for addressing skin sagging and concerns about localized support or volume may overlap, we first check the current skin condition and any history of previous threads or fillers.

DA’s Treatment Plan

We look at the position and direction before the number of threads.

DA determines the role of the threads by considering the desired contour, skin movement, and existing volume together.

Together with facial expression and facial connection

We check sagging from the front and side, as well as movement when smiling. We set the goal so that pulling too strongly on only one boundary does not make the surrounding shape look unnatural.

Distinguish the thread type and direction

We explain the product, material, structure, number of threads, and the insertion range and direction to be used. We do not assume that the name Jumber Thread alone means the same role as a general thread.

Reflect recovery burden in the schedule

We consider bruising, swelling, tightness, temporary unevenness, and any important appointments together. The location of any remaining previous threads and any discomfort experienced are also reflected in the plan.

Understanding the Components

Please check the composition of general threads and Jumber Thread.

Please read the number of threads, the actual product, and the purpose together.

Thread lifting

Check the product, material, structure, and insertion direction of the thread to be used. Even with the same number, the role differs depending on placement and the condition of the tissue.

Jumber Thread

A treatment introduced separately from general thread lifting. We confirm the thread to be used and the purpose of application, and explain the necessary areas and number.

Energy lifting · filler

If skin elasticity or lost volume is the main concern, we consider treatments with different roles. Threads do not solve sagging caused by every cause.

From Your Visit to Follow-up Checks

This is how the treatment progresses.

Preparation and recovery vary depending on the selected area and method. Please also let us know about any important schedules and your previous treatment experience.

  1. Check skin, contour, and previous procedures

We check sagging, skin movement, and the location, timing, and discomfort of any previous threads or fillers.

  2. Product, number, and direction plan

We explain which area will be supported, in which direction, and the threads to be used, as well as the cost and recovery.

  3. Design and preparation

The treatment area is marked and preparation appropriate to the procedure, such as disinfection and anesthesia, is carried out.

  4. Thread placement and shape check

The planned position and direction are treated with threads, and the skin and shape are examined.

  5. Recovery and follow-up guidance

Instructions are given for care of the insertion site, movements to avoid in daily life, symptoms that require contact, and when to return for reassessment.

What to Know Before and After Treatment

Please manage your skin like this after the procedure.

Initial tightness and swelling
Bruising, swelling, tenderness, tightness, and temporary unevenness of the skin may occur. Do not massage the area or touch the threads on your own.
Changes that require contact
Thread exposure, worsening pain, redness, discharge, persistent indentations, or left-right asymmetry require a medical evaluation.
Facial expressions and daily life
For precautions in daily life, such as opening the mouth widely or strong pressure on the face, follow guidance tailored to the actual threads and method used.

FAQ

Questions to Ask Before Deciding.

How many threads are needed?

This depends on the location of the sagging and the type of thread. A larger number is not necessarily more appropriate.

When will it look natural?

Because the degree of swelling and pulling varies, it is difficult to guarantee a specific date. Please let us know your event schedule and discuss recovery time.

How is it different from laser lifting?

Procedures that insert threads and procedures that deliver energy from outside the skin differ in process, risks, and recovery. Compare the changes you can expect from each.

Do more threads last longer?

The number of threads and the duration of results are not directly proportional. The product, placement, skin condition, and individual course all affect the outcome.

Can I receive the procedure again even if I already have threads?

The product, location, timing, and current condition must be checked. If there are remaining threads, inflammation, or indentations, evaluation comes first.

Results and recovery vary by individual, and all procedures carry a risk of side effects.
